AG2PI Conference #4: Thinking Big: Visualizing the Future of AG2PI

Gateway Hotel & Conference Center, Ames, Iowa 50014
September 9-10, 2022

Thinking Big: Visualizing the Future of AG2PI was held September 9-10, 2022, in Ames, IA. The goal of this two-day think tank-like workshop was to look ahead to where the field of agricultural genomes-to-phenomes is heading and where it needs to go. Discussions from this conference are being collated into a concept paper and used to recommend how future funding might be directed by NIFA to support ag G2P work for the biggest impact. Ideas inspired from this workshop will continue to inform actions related to improving production, quality and health of crops and livestock that the world's population and feed into America's workforce.
